This is a little critter who’s sort of a mix between a civet cat, a salamander ( the mythical fire kind ) and a horned lizard. I’m just calling them Catmanders. Catmanders are intelligent, independent creatures. Each individual is attuned to a natural element. You might see a fire Catmander, earth Catmander…. there are even Catmanders attuned to certain stones or gems. These creatures make fantastic companions and minders due to their empathic and caring nature. They have been known to ease physical and mental pain just by being nearby. Their 6 strong , double thumbed limbs and long prehensile tails allow Catmanders to climb just about anything. They also sleep upside down suspended by their tail.
This is Henson. He is a lava attuned Catmander. When he gets upset he tends to start doing the hairball hork thing cats do.. but instead of hair he hawks up a little glob of lava. It’s sort of cute at first but the floor burns can be a hassle. The good news is that Henson is pretty relaxed and it take a lot to get him to that point. He’s happy to just lay on the couch and get scratched. He careful with belly rubs since his stomach is the hottest part of his body, I recommend an oven mitt.
Henson’s necklace is made from a big chunk of African amber, brass, quartz and carved horn beads.
This is a handmade, one of a kind piece of art. The face+ claws are an original sculpt cast in resin that is then hand painted. Each cast piece is sealed with clear coat. The body is a soft, non articulated floppy style stuffed with soft polyfill and plastic pellets to weight the butt for easy sitting. The tail tip and back spines are flexible rubber. High quality thick faux fur body with hand dyed fur markings.
Every one of my dolls comes with a signed resin monster face medallion and nametag marking it as one of my one of a kind critters. These dolls are meant to be petted and cuddled a bit but please treat them with care. Wipe the face or paws with a slightly damp cloth to clean any scuffs or dust. They are not rated for young children!
You will also get some sweet werewolf stickers that are only given out with big orders and cant be purchased!

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this piece in person, as a teenage girl, and at the time did not appreciate the burnt texture of her skin. She is a charred woman, sent out into the desert to die of heat and exposure.
Instead it made her strong enough that she became stronger than Adam, powerful enough to dominate the Morning Star.
